IMMERSION

At Samarasa Healing we are excited to share with you our signature continued education program:

The Yoga Therapy Immersion (YTI)

Our credo is: ‘Using the physical body as a gateway to deeper levels of the being’.

If you are a yoga teacher, advanced practitioner or health care professional this extensive three week (160+ hour) training will allow you to truly step into the fascinating, effective and truly integrative field of yoga therapy.

This unique 3-week course focuses amongst others on applied physiology, the functional anatomy of yoga movement, integrative postural analysis, fascia, and the usage of props, therapeutic variations and alignment. These acquired skills will enable you to support common postural impairments, improve smart movement and promote kinesthetic intelligence.

Join this integrative yoga therapy training and dive deep into

  • The concept of fascia as the body’s largest sensory organ

  • Tensegrity and its bodily equivalent: the ‘fascia line system’

  • Myofascial release and trauma sensitive practice

  • The relevance and application of safety

  • The art of relaxation

  • Pain in its acute and chronic forms

  • Systematic body reading and thorough postural analysis

  • Breath work, and relevance of the autonomic nervous system

  • Mindfulness training

  • Therapist formation

  • Meditation practices supporting awareness across the yogic five bodies

  • Professionally AND compassionately offer support to students or clients, acknowledging and seeing the ‘person’ behind the physical form.
