YOGA THERAPY

ONE-ON-ONE

ONE-ON-ONE

THE HEALING PROPERTIES OF YOGA THERAPY BECOME VERY EVIDENT WHEN USED IN A FULLY INDIVIDUALISED SETTING:

A YOGA THERAPY 'ONE-ON-ONE' WITH ONE OF OUR MEDICAL DOCTORS AND CERTIFIED YOGA THERAPISTS.

WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?

Yoga Therapy could be broadly described as a form of ‘CUSTOMISED HEALTH AND LIFE COACHING’ which is open to anyone, even without prior experience in Yoga.

It is a holistic, highly effective while at the same time non-invasive form of therapy. We acknowledge the unique blue-print of the human being using an empathic and caring manner to support each client individually.

WHICH THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES ARE USED?

Our ‘therapeutic tools’ come:

On one hand from traditional Yoga (including asanas, pranayama, bandhas, trataka, dhyana, kriyas, karma and nidra yoga) and Ayurveda (following the tri-dosha model) which are then therapeutically adjusted and tailor-made to meet each client’s needs.

On the other hand, we emphasise modern healing modalities such as dietary recommendations, lifestyle advice, myofascial release, breath work, heart rate variability, autogenic training, compassion meditation, mindfulness practices and many others.

We are also particularly thoughtful to make referrals to other (trusted) specialists – such as specialised Medical Doctors, psychotherapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists and others – as well as working hand in hand with the treating physician (if present) thus allowing the best and most professional support for every client.

This innovative approach honours the tradition and is modern at the same time, making it approachable and relatable to the Western mind.

WHEN

DO I

CHOOSE

YOGA

THERAPY?

Yoga Therapy is a powerful trajectory when it comes to addressing the root cause of any problem. This is often a longer healing process which respects the different phases one passes through towards greater health.

From the Yoga Therapist side, it requires dynamic adaptations of the healing strategy while it requires patience and dedication from the client side. Even though it may not be a ‘quick-fix’ approach, the therapeutic effects are generally profound and lasting

LONG TERM

At Samarasa Healing we provide long-term therapeutic support aiming to serve our clients wholeheartedly.

We respect and value the individual life circumstances understanding that each person has a different pace, is equipped with specific personal resources and is also facing particular obstacles towards a state of improved health.

SHORT TERM

Besides that, even on the shorter term, this field offers a vast array of tools to use.

Simple techniques, done for 5-10 mins a day can already help to alleviate symptoms, bring more balance and increase the overall well-being.

Under professional guidance customised programs are made available even to clients who only have a brief time frame on hand.

WHICH CONDITIONS CAN BE SUPPORTED WITH YOGA THERAPY?

If you are suffering from any physical or psychological issue or have been diagnosed with a medical condition (including post-surgery or regular medication) a personalised Yoga Therapy session with one of our specialists can greatly support your healing process

WHO BENEFITS FROM

YOGA THERAPY?

YOGA NOVICES OR BEGINNERS

Have you ever thought: 'Yoga is not for me!'? You may think that you are not ‘flexible’, ‘sportive’ or ‘disciplined’ enough to succeed.

Good news: Yoga Therapy is not about this at all!

There is no need for you to be in any other way than your authentic self – and we will take it from there.

Discussing together what your struggles are, which problems and diseases are present, but also what strengths you have and how much time and effort you can realistically invest.

From that understanding a personalised Yoga Therapy program (sometimes as short as 5-10mins) is developed which respects you as a person and allows you to take the next step towards improved health and increased well-being.

ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS

For some of you Yoga is maybe already an integrated part of your life and you strongly sense (or have even experienced) the profound healing properties that this system has to offer.

It is somehow the next ‘logical step’ for you to use Yoga Therapy to specifically work on deeper issues or illnesses that you have not been able to heal yet.

Scheduling a full ‘Yoga Therapy one-on-one’ package with one of our specialists will be the ideal option to allow an in-depth analysis of your condition, while using the tools of Yoga Therapy to promote a profound healing process
